Wildlife in the Places of Stones

This expedition style trip to the northern edges of the Gobi features the rocky oases of the desert, the Big and Small Place of Stones, where you can observe otherwise hard to see mountain species with a minimum of hiking and climbing and also see herds of gazelle and wild ass. Ibex, Argali sheep, Grey Wolf, and large birds of prey are also to be seen in abundance. At the end of the trip, we stop at Hustain Nuruu to see the world’s only wild herds of Przewalski’s horse in their natural habitat.
