Wildflowers of the Eight Lakes

The Eight Lakes region, cradled in the protection of the Hangai Nuruu mountain range, is home to a great variety of wildflowers. This trip is appropriate for anyone wishing to catalogue and photograph wildflowers who is fit enough to undertake moderate walking and hiking for 4 to 5 hours a day, carrying a light day pack. We move at a moderate pace allowing for plenty of stops. Other trip highlights include beautiful scenery, experiencing nomadic culture, a stay at the hot springs in Tsenkher, and visits to some of Central Mongolia’s best historical sites.
